Sumario:The article discusses online course-management systems (CMS), which is computer software that allows controlled exchanges via the Internet of just about any kind of information related to an educational course. The article presents a more complete definition of CMS, which is that it provides an instructor with a set of tools and framework that allows for the easy creation of online course content and subsequent teaching and management of that course including various interactions with students taking the course. The article focuses on Moodle, which is a CMS that is offered for free to schools and educators.
