| Sumario: | The present volume is a collection of selected contributions presented at the Translation and Interpreting Forum Olomouc (TIFO 2019), which was held under the title Teaching Translation vs. Training Translators. The organizers'goal was to provide a platform for all parties with an interest in translating and interpreting, both academics and professionals, to meet and to discuss and critically examine relevant issues and often opposed viewpoints. The participants included representatives of universities, EU institutions, publishing industry, transnational corporations and language service providers.
