        A descriptive transverse and observational study was made with the purpose to identify some characteristics of the symptomatology of pregnant women hospitalized by sickness, vomits and hiperemesis little gravid, in Obstetrics and ginecologic services of the hospital Sergio Bemales of Collique. The study had a duration of two months selecting 330 pregnant hospitalized during the month of April and May of the 2003. The results evidenced that of the total of the women that they showed hiperemesis gravid the g 2 percent they presented their problem all day long, this problem presented itself largely upon taking in foodstuff. In addition and in relation to when the sickness is calmed it could be found that these get better with fruits in the 29 percent of the cases tolerating better the indoor foodstuff than in other places. In relation to the characteristics of the vomit than of the total 71 percent vomited all consumption of foodstuff, on the other hand in the retention of foodstuff 18 percent of women with hiperemesis contains foodstuff. It was found that the problem starts off in that the gestacional age that the hiperemesis began was from seven to ten weeks, improving between the 11/14 weeks, disappearing completely beetween the l g to 22 weeks in 39 percent. In relation to sialorrea's presence it could be found that the 39 percent presented this problem in some moments, being the start of the more frequent sialorrea among the 7 to 10 weeks, improving among the 11 and 14 weeks and disappearing definitively between 15 and 18 weeks and 19 and 22 weeks. Finally the treatment of larger frequency was the hospitalization in the 95 percent of the women that showed hiperemesis pregnant, being the principal medication the use the hydration (56.4%), where the 84 percent of the women respond to the treatment and the 87 percent occurred with pregnancy
        Estudio descriptivo, transversal y observacional con la finalidad de identificar algunas características de la sintomatología de las mujeres gestantes hospitalizadas por náuseas, vómitos e hiperemesis gravíidicas, en los servicios de Gíneco-Obstetricia del Hospital Sergio Bernales de Collique. El estudio tuvo una duración de dos meses y una muestra de 330 gestantes hospitalizadas durante los meses de abril y mayo de 2003. Los resultados mostraron que del total de las mujeres que presentaron hiperemesis dravídica el 92 por ciento presentó su problema todo el día; este problema se presentó mayormente en el momento de ingerir alimentos. Por otro lado, y respecto a cuándo se calmaron las náuseas, se pudo encontrar que éstas se alivian con frutas en el 29 por ciento de los casos, tolerando mejor los alimentos en casa que en otros lugares. Respecto a las características del vómito, se pudo determinar que el 71 por ciento vomitó todo el consumo de alimentos. Por otro lado, en lo referente a la retención de alimentos, el 18 por ciento de las mujeres con hiperemesis contiene alimentos. Encontramos que la edad gestacional en que comenzó la hiperemesis fue de siete a diez semanas, mejorando entre las semanas 11 a 14, desapareciendo por completo entre las semanas 19 a 22, en el 39 por ciento. Respecto a la presencia de sialorrea, se pudo determinar que el 39 por ciento presentaba este problema en algunos momentos, siendo el inicio de la sialorrea más frecuente entre las semanas 7 a 10, mejorando entre las semanas 11 a 14 y desapareciendo definitivamente entre las semanas 15 y 18 y las semanas 19 y 22. Finalmente, el tratamiento de mayor frecuencia fue la hospitalización en el 95 por ciento de las mujeres que presentaron hiperemesis gravídica, siendo la medicación de mayor empleo la hidratación (56.4%), con la cual el 84 por ciento de las mujeres respondió bien al tratamiento y cursó con el embarazo el 8 7 por ciento.
