Summary:A biography of writer Bjornstjerne Bjornson is presented. He was born on December 8, 1832 in Norway. He received his first regular schooling at the age of 10 when he was sent to the Latin School in the seaport of Molde. While studying in Christiania, he began to write plays and stories and became literary critic to the Norwegian newspaper "Morgenbladet." He became in charge of a theatre in Bergen and led the establishment of a NORWEGIAN theatre. His contemporary theatrical plays are offered.
