Sumario:A biography of Erik Axel Karlfeldt, the third Swede Nobel Prize in Literature awardee is presented. He was born on July 20, 1864 in Sweden and attended school in Folkärna, then studied at the Gymnasium in Västeras. He continued his studies at Uppsala University and pursue his literary career. He wrote several collections of poems and published it. He was refused to be considered for the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1918 but was still awarded to him after his death.
