| Sumario: | A biography of Hermann Hesse, the second Swiss Nobel Prize winner, is presented. He was born on July 2, 1877 in the city of Calw in Germany. At 12, he was sent to a Latin school, decided to become a poet at 13 and went to theological seminary in Maulbronn to follow the family tradition at 14. However, after 6 months he ran away from school and returned home in 1893. He helped his father in the publishing house and have been rewarded apprenticeships. His poems and novels are also explored. |
