| Sumario: | A biography of Ivo Andrić, a Nobel Prize winner for Literature, is presented. He was born on October 10, 1892 in northern Bosnia and studied at the University of Zagreb. With the influence of the books he had read, he began to write poetry at an early age of 13. He joined revolutionary organization to fight for their independence from Austria. Despite of these struggles, several of his poetry were still published which include the "New Croatian Lyric Verse" and "The Bosnian Trilogy." |
