Sumario:A biography of Elias Canetti, a Nobel Prize winner is presented. He was born of Spanish-Jewish descent on July 25, 1905 at the Rutschuk, Bulgaria. His first language was Ladino but he also speaks German and other languages. At the age of 14, he wrote his first literary work, a verse drama in several acts, "Junius Brutus," after he was sent to a school in Zurich, Switzerland. In 1929, he earned his doctorate with a dissection in chemistry in Vienna, Austria.
