Sumario:A biography of Nadine Gordimer, a literary author, is presented. She was born on November 20, 1923 in Springs, South Africa and studied at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. At the age of 10, she was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat which resulted for the stoppage of all her physical activity. However, she turned her attention to books and pen and began to write stories and published it. She was the seventh woman who received the Nobel Prize in Literature.
