| Sumario: | The article examines the part of the world history on the issue annexation between South Africa and South West Africa after World War II. Accordingly, Pretoria, South Africa people were confident that the United Nations would approve for such an unprecedented move to annex the South West Africa. The move, however, had met a strong opposition from the Reverend Michael Scott and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), who were determined to stop the absorption of 350,000 Africans into a white-supremacist state. Moreover, NAACP and Scott had made a political space and established the right of nongovernmental organizations, convinced the international audience, and in the process reshape the UN, within their five-year battles.
