| Sumario: | A chapter of the book "Queer Universes: Sexualities in Science Fiction" is presented. It explores the ways in which the science fiction novel "Trouble on Triton," by Samuel Delany, might be considered as engaging in dialogue with the manner it was composed. It suggests that the novel conveys a sense of both the progressive and the regressive possibilities inherent within contemporary commodity culture as well as illustrates the interrelation of sexual identity, sexual desire and statistics. |
