Sumario:The article reviews another article in the issue which discusses the tools for analyzing high-dimensional datasets, providing an evaluation of the Polaris Tableau System. Polaris is a declarative visual query language which allows users to visualize relationships between data through the use of colors, shapes, sizes, and orientations, the article states. Topics include leveraging the advances of database systems for optimal performance of accesses to large datasets, interactively exploring raw data, and the automatic construction of graphs. Also discussed is the graphical presentation of categorical information.
