Computer engineer Douglas Engelbart introduced the first computer mouse in 1968. Ludwig van Beethoven conducted the premiere of his Symphony No. 5 in C minor in 1808. Marjorie Courtenay-Latimer found a coelacanth, a fish previously thought to be extinct for 65 million years, in captain Hendrick Goosen's catch in 1938.
