Sumario:The article offers information on the semantic derogation of terms for women in Korean, with parallel developments in Japanese and Chinese. This research explores two kinds of semantic changes in terms for women in Korean, along with developments in Japanese and Chinese, and evaluates the underlying mechanisms that cause this linguistic changes.
