Sumario:The article discusses open grid services architecture (OGSA). Topics discussed include classification of OGSA services, infrastructure services, execution management services, data management services, security services, and resource management & information services. The authors illustrate the specifications described by presenting three grid use cases including high-throughput computing, a federated data environment, and service mobility. Although not complete, OSGA is sufficiently specified to allow for the development of interoperable grids.
