Sumario:The author discusses the article "Who Checks the Spell-Checkers," by Chris Wilson in the December 31, 2008 issue of "Slate." In the article the author discusses how the technology already exists to have up-to-date spell checking services available in computer programs such as Microsoft's Word, but that differences exists between word processors and the search engines that already employ such technologies. Spell checkers are designed to be conservative while search engines are much broader.
