| Sumario: | Henry Bergson has a conspicuous effect on the philosophy of the early twentieth century. His influence is not only prevalent in philosophy but also in literary studies. Tanpinar, an important figure in the emergence of Modern Turkish Literature and Eliot, one of the founding fathers of Modernism are chiefly affected by Henry Bergson's philosophy of time. As time accumulates in its flow, life is a continuum of that augmentation according to both men of literature; that is, of course, an obvious impact of Bergson. In that study the correlation between two critics will be postulated by elucidating the authority of Bergson on their criticism, both literary and social.
