Sumario:This essay discusses the social and cultural impact of the Internet in the lives of the younger generation. It explores on the role of technology in the rapidly changing society with emphasis on the emerging technology as the driving force for change on children and youth, that brings out a different effect on their distinct culture. It tells that adolescents use the Internet to accomplish essential developmental tasks such as identity formation, social interaction, and autonomy. It adds that the Internet has played an important role in adolescent life which created another culture through social networks.
