In 2019, WIPO organized an International Conference preceded by three Regional Seminars in Singapore, Nairobi, and Santo Domingo. The events achieved a satisfying level of consensus on the need to move forward on preservation copying, as an integral element in stewarding cultural heritage collections, regardless of whether the collection is held in a library, archive, or museum.
