| Sumario: | The article presents an exploration into the philosophy and treatment of time within the writings of the Argentinian poet Jorge Luis Borges. An in-depth engagement with Borges' expressed views about the dichotomous or harmonious nature of space and time, of time perception, and time's connection to the concept of identity and desire. Criticism and questions are raised regarding the contradictions between Borges' privileging time over space in priority, yet equally supporting classical philosophical conception of infinite succession. |
