| Sumario: | In this article the author offers his views on somaesthetics, commonly known as the critical, ameliorative study of experience and the use of body as a locus of sensory aesthetic appreciation and self-fashioning. He claims that somaesthetics has been largely inspired and shaped by the perspectives of classical pragmatist philosophy. Several classical pragmatists like John Dewey and C. S. Peirce have influenced it. Peirce was the founding father of classical pragmatism. |
