Sumario:The article reports that researchers from Hewlett-Packard (HP) have created a prototype of an unbreakable and power-efficient plastic computer display using self-aligned imprint lithography (SAIL) technique in 2009. The entry notes that the prototype black-and-white display screen uses less material than conventional glass displays and has a thickness of only 50 microns. HP claims that it is already working on a color version of the display through a combination of SAIL and organic light emitting diode (LED) technology.
