ab: AQAL-5, the fifth iteration of Ken Wilber's integral metatheory, consists of an Integral Operating System, Integral Post-Metaphysics, Integral Methodological Pluralism, and Integral Life Practice. Within this context, I hypothesize that channeling functions as one of multiple human intelligences (per Howard Gardener) and developmental lines (per Wilber). As such, channeling may be a universal human intelligence that develops through state-stages or structure-stages. Also, it may be more than just a "talent line," as it deals with complex relationships in brain function (i.e., modules) between multiple intelligences, sub-personalities, dissociative states, amnesia, and gross, subtle, and causal bodies, states, and lines. This article outlines a pilot research program to study this hypothesis.
