| Sumario: | Theatre in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1992-1995 provides a critical historiography of the activities of institutional theatres in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the war of 1992–1995. Based on the assumption that different contexts of war lead to diverse forms and functions of theatre, this open access book analyses the activities of theatrical institutions in four Bosnian-Herzegovinian cities during wartime. The primary material, collected onsite, includes video recordings of performances, edited plays, theatre programs and newspaper reviews, as well as interviews with contemporary witnesses who were active theatre artists during the war.
