Sumario:This article reveals that one in five new applications launching for the iPhone App Store in October 2009 was a book, according to a study by Flurry. The study found that Apple is positioned to take market share from the Amazon Kindle as e-book activity on the iPhone increases. Dan Franklin of Canongate says the publisher was satisfied with the sales of the app for Nick Cave's "The Death of Bunny Monro." According to Adam Martin of United Agents, growth will come from fresh content devised specifically for the platform.
