| Sumario: | This article informs that John Munkirs' "Transformation of American Capitalism" has been described as perhaps the most important contribution to institutional economics in the last decade. One of the characteristics of this work is the extensive effort Munkirs made to develop an evidential analysis of the structure that controls the economy. An important part of this research effort is presented in a format that Munkirs describes as a "tableau." Authors have collaborated in developing a collection of computer programs for use in replicating and extending the work that Munkirs initiated. The initial release of the "Linkages" package includes data entry, analysis, and display routines, with reference and instructional manuals. The primary purpose of the program is to reduce the time and effort required in counting linkages among boards of directors. Because the use of a program drastically reduces the labor involved in tabulating the linkages among boards of directors, it is now practical to consider ways the basic tableau can be modified and extended.
