| Sumario: | A conference paper regarding the development of Batavia Wharf in Lelystad, Netherlands is presented. It discusses the original Batavia which is considered as notorious for the mutiny that follows when it was destroyed on its maiden voyage in 1629 and the reconstruction of its parts including the main frames, scaffolding and safety rails. Moreover, it demonstrates that the intention of its reconstruction is to launch the wharf and place it to deeper water and establish its heavy armor. |
