Sumario:The article presents various issues that are cited at the "The Bureau of Labor Statistics," including the comparative indicators, the employment and unemployment data and the job opening and labor turnover survey. In comparative indicators the labor force participation rate and unemployment rates are presented with the measures of employment and average weekly hours using nonfarm payroll data. In the employment and unemployment data, it presents the employed persons who worked for pay any time during the week which includes the 12th day of the month and those who did not work during the survey week. The Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey covers all private nonfarm establishments such as factories, offices and stores collected from job hirings, job openings and layoffs and discharges.
