For financial institutions, information systems and information technology are central to a firm's profitability rather than merely supportive of it. Companies therefore need to comprehensively plan for BC in a way that embraces includes project management, identification of conditions and assumptions underlying BC, and the formulation of action plans. Implementation of a BC or disaster-recovery plan hinges on having the right technology, people, and processes. |
