Sumario:This article presents information about a study conducted by José Contreras-Vidal of the University of Maryland to determine which parts of the brain produce the clearest signals about hand motions for monitors placed on the outside of the head. The purpose of the study was to try to decrease the gap between the sensitivity of outside monitors and implanted monitors. The study discovered that the brain's primary sensorimotor cortex area was the most sensitive.
