| Sumario: | The article focuses on the use of process mining techniques to audit business process. It states that the auditing, which verifies business processes, can be facilitated with the use of process mining through access to event logs. It discusses that through the event logs, auditors can check the patterns of processes and nonconformances as well as use historic data for special cases. According to the article, the process can further be expanded to detect bottlenecks and provide suggestions for process improvement. |
