| Sumario: | The article examines the papers "An Abulensean Pragmatist?," "Pragmatism and Santayana's Realms," and "Santayana's Limited Pragmatism" by professor Angus Kerr-Lawson for his interpretation of philosopher George Santayana's philosophy of values and on Santayana's connection with American pragmatism. The term "abulensean" as it applies to the Santayana's philosophy is to emphasize the role of the Mediterranean tradition and the "Spanishness," according to the article. Kerr-Lawson's understanding that Santayana didn't differ from the pragmatists on the problem of values is discussed. |
