Even the lowest predictions of the advances coming in the next decade will give tomorrow's computers a level of utility and convenience people can only dream of today. The true breakthrough technologies will be those that deliver completely new kinds of computers that are faster but also handle certain types of problem more efficiently or that can be built at a cost affordable to everybody.
