| Sumario: | A special section on the projections of the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) to 1995. The BLS compiles projections of the labor force, industry employment, and occupational employment every second year. The findings supply users of BLS projections with data to improve their understanding of the difficulties involved in developing accurate projections and to assess the way in which projections are used in the future. An awareness of the accuracy of BLS projections influences whether an individual or agency will depend on the projections in the future and, if so, how the projections will subsequently be used. The BLS's labor-force forecasts and industry and occupational projections to 1995 were quite accurate.
