| Sumario: | According to Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) projections for occupational employment in the U.S., occupations requiring a postsecondary vocational award or an academic degree will account for 42 percent of total job growth between 2000 and 2010. Although most of the new jobs that arise during this period will be in occupations requiring only work-related training, these occupations are expected to grow more slowly on average.
