| Sumario: | Virtual Reality (VR) experiences will be fully integrated into real life in the next 18 to 28 years. VR will allow people to try out and learn different things, virtually, both positive and negative. People will “attend” meetings, practice surgical techniques, travel to exotic places, test design flaws before building things, and create digital clones to be people's representatives in virtual worlds. The writer considers some of the fields that will see VR advances: proxy avatars, virtual communication, design and engineering, overcoming disabilities, and entertainment. |
