In addition to providing security-access control, central house computers will adjust temperature and air flow levels. In the event of tighter government regulations, they may even monitor the consumption of water, electricity, and other resources. Because of their dependence on expensive technology, these systems will be susceptible to power outages and may only be available to affluent homeowners.
