Statistics show that arrests for forgery and fraud have already increased dramatically in the United States in the last 20 years. The lack of effective law-enforcement technology to combat computer fraud is compounding the problem. Laws against computer misuse will proliferate as law enforcers struggle to keep up with criminals.
