A SAS algorithm for computing Scheffé-Marascuilo comparisons among correlations.

The writers describe a computer program for constructing both simple and complex multiple comparisons among Pearson product-moment correlation coefficients. The program, which can be run on the SAS System, can compute up to eight independent samples of either equal or unequal sizes and allows any a...

Sumario:The writers describe a computer program for constructing both simple and complex multiple comparisons among Pearson product-moment correlation coefficients. The program, which can be run on the SAS System, can compute up to eight independent samples of either equal or unequal sizes and allows any alpha rate to be employed by the user. The algorithm programmed is attributable to Marascuilo (1966) and is based on Scheffé's (1959) method of multiple comparisons.
