ab: Rankings of the top business schools in the U.S. in magazines like Business Week and US News & World Report are an incomplete measure of how good the schools really are. Although the magazines may agree on what are the best and worst schools, they are not a reliable measure of who is on the way up and down or a good means of differentiating schools that lie only a few places apart. This is mostly due to the fact that a leap up the table is as likely to reflect a statistical error as a genuine improvement.
