| Sumario: | A study was conducted to explore the opinions of news editors about reporting on the private affairs of public officials and candidates. Findings revealed that editors believed that, offensive as it is, reporting on the private affairs of public people will continue as a result of its publication elsewhere and public interest in this information, even though they feel this means damaging the credibility of the news media. |
