| Sumario: | A study was conducted to examine resiliency in practicing marriage and family therapists (MFTs). Data were obtained via questionnaires and semi-structured interviews administered to eight practicing MFTs. Findings revealed that MFTs actively engage in an intentional process of keeping their “selves” healthy and functional, which bolstered their general resiliency. Findings also revealed that factors, such as a supportive work environment, well-managed risk and liability issues, enjoyment in practicing therapy, and finding meaning in work, contributed to therapists' resiliency. Findings are discussed in detail.
