The writer comments on the sexual revolution that was in full flower all across the U.S. by 1968 and the many successes of feminism that are the legacy of that revolution. With this in mind, she comments on the new, more subtle form of sexism that exists today, exemplified by the public treatment of Hillary Clinton's campaign to become the Democratic Party's presidential nominee in 2008. |
