| Sumario: | A commentary on the special section on counseling with children that appeared in this issue. Although, in each article, the authors indicate that counseling psychologists' work with children would include educational or developmental interventions along with preventive and remedial interventions, they focused almost exclusively on the latter. The contradiction between the rationale and the application is important not only for philosophical reasons, but because developmental programs and services are presently being offered by other professionals in a range of settings. |
