The programs FIXFREE and GENHDR convert database files into different formats: ASCII fixed format to comma-delimited free ASCII format and vice versa. The programs may be used either as stand alone programs or as procedures within a database management system. The programs also contain a procedure to import comma-delimited free AS CIT formatted files into database management systems, e.g., DBase III, DBase IV, or the different versions of FOXPRO.
