| Sumario: | A 3-D computer-generated female cadaver is the second entry in the National Library of Medicine's Visible Human Project. The “Visible Woman” was created from digitized radiographic and photographic data from the body of a 59-year-old Maryland woman who donated her body to science. A Visible Man was created in 1994, but the resolution of the Visible Woman's images is 3 times sharper. Many researchers have already used the anatomical data from the Visible Humans, which can be accessed via the Internet, for a number of projects. |
