Sumario:Public/private partnerships in Macon, Georgia, are helping to ensure that all city employees have the opportunity to own a home computer. The mayor's staff, a local computer company, and the city's Employees Credit Union have designed a program that assists employees in determining their computer needs and securing loans to offset the cost. The program is aimed at those who earn less than $25,000 per year and who may not otherwise have access to affordable financing.
