Advocacy and Policy Success in Aging.

Part of a special issue on advocacy and aging. The role played by advocacy in expanding aging policy in the U.S. is discussed. It is argued that the impact of early advocacy efforts on policies is one of the key reasons that advocacy has contributed to this expansion.
