The term anomalous mental phenomena is used by the experimenters to refer to what parapsychologists label psi, which includes both extrasensory perception, termed anomalous cognition, and psychokinesis, termed anomalous perturbation. The experimenters claim that their results support the existence of anomalous cognition, particularly clairvoyance and precognition, but that they found no evidence for the existence of anomalous perturbation.
