| Sumario: | A commentary is provided on three articles that appear in this issue. The articles are: Geralyn Miller's “Methodology, Statistics, and Voting Error: An Exploration of 2000 Presidential Election Data in Two States”;R. Michael Alvarez, Stephen Ansolabehere, and Charles Stewart's commentary on Miller's article; and Miller's response to Alvarez et al.'s commentary. It is argued that these articles demonstrate the difficulties associated with analyzing election administration and voting techniques. It is concluded that the exchange between Miller and Alvarez et al. is an important contribution to the literature on election systems. |
